My Name is Anselmo Amaro. I built this computer in about 3 hours. This was my first build and it was sweet. The machine runs great! I've had no problems with it. I just followed the lessons step by step and watched them a few times while my parts were being ship to my house. It all went smooth and everything was just how you said it would be. Thank you for helping me build this computer. It looks awesome and everybody wants me to build them one now too. lol.

"My husband found your DVD after our son asked to build a computer for
his 14th birthday / 8th grade graduation present. We're watching the
DVD as a family (neither my husband or I have built a computer before)
and we are having a wonderful experience.
Your DVD is so well made and the content is truly riveting! Thanks so much!!!" |

I'd like to add my own testimonial to Michael's great site and service. I just completed my first "homebrew" machine-
- Pentium E5300 2.6GHz
- 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM
- Coller Master Centurion Case
- Gigabyte GA-G41M Motherboard
- GeForce EVGA 9500 GT Video Card
- 23" Acer Monitor
- Corsair 400W Power supply
- Western Digital 750 GB Hard Drive
- Logitech Keyboard and mouse
- Sony Optiarc 24X DVD Drive
Total Cost just over $700 from NewEgg.com
I had previously purchased Home PC Builder 2009 DVD which I consider to be the best money ever spent on a computer related product. The course was clear, concise and specific enough so that I felt I could comfortably take the plunge and attempt to build my own computer. The suggested parts lists on the website were also invaluable. For those items that were no longer available or out of stock, Michael was very helpful in suggesting alternatives. As with any construction project of this type, a problem or two will inevitably arise. For each "hiccup" I experienced in the building process, Michael responded to my questions promptly and helped me figure out what I was doing wrong without any pain or strain. The community forums on the site were also extremely helpful. Chances are, any problems you might encounter building your machine have likely been experienced by others before you. All of my issues except one, were covered in previous posts to the forum. Michael personally resolved my other issue. As a result, my new computer is working beautifully now. I am left with a meaningful sense of accomplishment and am confident I have a top notch piece of equipment at a great price. I highly recommend Home PC Builder and encourage anyone with a desire to build their own PC to GO FOR IT. With the help from Michael, this website and the related forums, you are sure to succeed. |

Hello Michael,
First I would like to thank you for a wonderful job on your tutorials. I’ve been intimidated by computers for years and dared not to think of building my own but, I needed something fast for my recording studio. I found you on youtube and decided to check you out and man! what a blessing that was. A two year old can understand how simple you make it and I was not afraid or intimidated after subscribing to your site.
My Computer is home built and is exactly what I wanted and that’s all because of you Michael. |

Hi Michael,
I’d like to let you know that my 15 year old son built a computer that
he estimated would have cost about $3000.00 if he had ordered it from
a company such as Dell. The actual cost was about $1575.00.
He bought the parts and built it in one day. All the components were bought at the Microcenter store. A list of these components and their
prices follow:
1. CPU- Ci7 boxed $230.00
2. MB- Asus P6T deluxe 290.00
3. HD- 2 Green Power 1T each @$110 ea 220.00
4. Video- Ge Force GTX 260 230.00
5. MEM- 6GB 1600ddr3 kit 100.00
6. OS- Windows Vista Ultimate 200.00
7. Spkrs- Logitech z4 90.00
8. PS- Stealth x stream ocz 85.00
9. Tower- Tt v9 Mid tower 80.00
10. Mse/kb – wireless combo 60.00
11. DVD burner- +/-sata 25.00
12. Wireless PCI card- EZ connect 20.00
As you can see a lot of the parts were those suggested in your videos.
He accomplished this task by reviewing the DVD several times. While
viewing it he made a list of the parts that he would need. After
being satisfied that he knew exactly what he wanted, he purchased the
parts. The Homepcbuilder DVD was used all along the way. He
encountered no major problems.
I was so impressed with his successful build of the PC, I felt
compelled to write this letter so as to thank you for making available
a product that resulted, in my opinion, an experience of a lifetime.
Sincerely.

I recently finished building my first, from scratch, computer with the help of your video series.
The computer includes an Intel Quad Core Q6600 CPU on an XFX nForce 680i LT SLI motherboard with 4 Gigs of Corsair 800 Mhz RAM. I installed a 500 Gig Western digital SATA drive, an EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked 512 MB PCIe video card, an Ultra 500 watt power supply, and 2 Samsung double layer read/write DVD drives.
These were installed into a very sleek, ultra cool Antec Nine Hundred ATX gaming case. I bought everything on sale at my local MicroCenter computer store with the exception of the case which I ordered mail order through the MicroCenter web site. I spent one day installing all the components and then a second day installing the OS and lots of personal software.
I did not run into any serious problems building this. The CMOS setup was all automatic with the exception of setting the drive order. I subdivided the 500 Gig drive into 4 equal partitions. The case came with 4 fans. Two on the front, one on the back, and one on the top. The fans are 120 mm in size with the exception of the top fan which is 200 mm in size.
It runs fantastic and is very quiet. I do a lot of 3D design work so the new Quad Core processor really lets me fly through my jobs.
Thanks for the video training series. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the excuse to build my next computer from scratch.

I just built my very first PC and I could not have done it without your tutorial. I learned so much about what to do and not do, what to look for and what to avoid.
Your tutorial is very thorough, precise, detailed and easy to understand.
My PC is up and running very well and it is all thanks to your video. Again, I could not have done what I did without you. In fact, I added a few pics to show you the end result.
Thanks again!
